We hate to get all serious, but we need you to accept the following Terms and Conditions before we can issue you with a fundraising code.

  1. To request a unique fundraising code you must either be on the committee, or be the person responsible for fundraising for your club, school, or organisation.
  2. A unique fundraising code cannot be used or promoted for the benefit of an individual.
  3. After requesting a unique fundraising code, we will email you your code and request details of the designated bank account that you would like any funds raised to be paid into.
  4. $10NZ will be paid into your designated bank account for every ‘What it takes to wear black’ children’s book purchased on the backintheday.co.nz website that quotes your unique fundraising code at checkout.
  5. An Orders Report pulled from Back In The Day Limited’s Woocommerce account, will be the sole and final source of information used to confirm and validate funds raised per unique fundraising code. Back In The Day Limited is not responsible for any issues that might arise that prevent us from pulling this report, or otherwise affect the integrity or accuracy of its data.
  6. Funds will be paid out into your designated bank account every two months, starting with the period beginning 1/06/2022 and ending 31/07/2022. Any funds raised within a two-month period will be paid into your designated bank account on or before the 15th of the following month. We will notify you immediately of any issues that might prevent or delay the payment of funds. Should you require your funds to be paid sooner, you can request this via email to [email protected]. Early payments will be made at the sole discretion of Back In the Day Limited. 
  7. It is your responsibility to ensure that your unique fundraising code, and instructions for its use at checkout, are communicated in any promotional activity that you undertake. Back In The Day Limited is not responsible for instances where you forget to promote your fundraising code or promote an incorrect fundraising code, or where a customer forgets to enter your fundraising code or enters an incorrect fundraising code at checkout.
  8. Back In The Day Limited is not responsible for any issues you might experience with third-party services when promoting your fundraising code, or for any website failures which prevent the correct use of your unique fundraising code at checkout.
  9. Back In The Day Limited can choose, at our discretion, to cease this fundraising opportunity at any time, or invalidate any fundraising code if we believe it is not being used in good faith or in the spirit it was intended.
